A new chapter of RC racing
AI render concept — not actual gameplay
Your floor, their floor, the same track and the same clock — you see each other's cars run.
True spec racing — the same car, the same track, the same clock for everyone. May the best driver win.
Two or three projectors stitched into one big layout, so the track is as large as the room.
Real cars on the projected surface, virtual cars in the same race — same lap counter for both.
Shop — recommended projectorsIt has to be rated to point straight down. That is the one that rules everything else out.
Most home projectors — good gaming ones included — are only rated for about 15° of
tilt, so aiming one at the floor is out of spec no matter what the light source is. What you want is
a projector the maker lists for 360° and portrait operation: a sealed laser head that can
hang in any orientation, run all day, and never need a lamp.
Then milliseconds. An RC racer has no time for latency — the car has to turn as fast as
the wheel does, so input lag is the number to buy on: 8 ms or less, and never above 16.
120 Hz or better keeps the picture up with it. And short throw puts the whole layout on the
floor from close up, so nobody walks through the beam.

Shop track — AI render concept, not actual gameplay
Three projectors throw overlapping light onto the same floor and the game blends them into one big layout — drivers stand above it and look down, the way they do at a real track.
A Flea Racers scoring app that runs the whole race night off the phones already in the room. Mount one high — head height or better, looking down on the track — and it counts the laps. Mount three round the layout and they work as one. No transponders to buy, no loop under the carpet, no laptop.
Did a setup change help or hurt a section? The old ways give you one lap time. With a camera-based system you get full-track telemetry, from the phone in your pocket.
Each phone watches its own stretch. Every crossing lands on the same sheet.
Concept — phone scoring is in development and not yet available.
