Privacy Policy
Flea Racers is run by Club Race Hero Studios LLC. This page says exactly what the game collects, why it collects it, how long it is kept and how to have it removed. We do not sell your data, we do not run tracking advertising, and there is no third-party analytics or advertising SDK in the game.

You can play without giving us anything
Open practice needs no account, no email address and no sign-up. You can drive, build a track and use your own radio without telling us who you are.
What we collect
A racer name, when you type one
If you enter a name to post a lap time, that name is stored with the time so the leaderboard can show it. Pick anything you like — it does not have to be your real name, and we never ask you to prove it is.
Lap times and race results
Your best lap, lap count, the track, the class and the direction are stored so leaderboards, Hot Laps and club results work. These are kept while the board is live and expire on their own.
The driving recorded with a race you post
When you post a race result, the game sends how the race was driven along with it: your car's position ten times a second, the moments you crossed the line, and your controls — steering, throttle and brake, which control you were using (keys, touch, tilt, a controller or a headset) and your controller's name. It also counts any key presses, clicks or touches during the race that were made by software rather than by a person; your browser marks those. We use this only to check that a posted time was really driven, and to replay a lap if a time is questioned. It is not shown publicly.
A device identifier
A Lifetime Race Pass is tied to the device it is activated on, so a code cannot be shared endlessly. To do that the game creates a random identifier for your device and stores it in your browser. It is a random string generated on your device. It is not an advertising identifier, it is not your phone's hardware ID, and it is not used to track you anywhere else.
Approximate location, from the network
When a track goes live or a win is posted, our host (Cloudflare) tells us the country, region, city and network the request came from. We use it to see roughly where the game is being played and to know which clubs are active. It is approximate, derived from the network connection, and never comes from your device's GPS. We never ask for location permission and the game does not read your precise location.
Bug reports, if you send one
If you use "Report a bug", we store what you wrote, the page you were on, the build number, the track and car, and your browser's user agent string so the fault can be reproduced. If you choose to include an email address so we can reply, that address is stored with the report. Bug reports are deleted automatically after 90 days.
Page visits
We count visits to the site so we know whether anybody is playing. Each visit records the page name, the device identifier described above, a random session string, which site referred you, any campaign tag in the link and whether the device is a phone. This runs on our own server, not a third-party analytics service, and it is used only to count and locate activity in the aggregate.
Radio speed tests, if you run one
If you press Start on the speed test on the Radio page, the result is saved so racers can compare radios: the controller's name as your browser reports it, the timings measured, your browser and operating system type, the device identifier described above, your racing tag, the race pass code on that device if there is one, and the IP address and approximate location the request came from. The IP address, tag and pass code are kept so that a script posing as a controller can be found and blocked; the shared table shows only controller names and their timings.
If the game locks up
If the game stops responding for more than twelve seconds while it is on screen, it sends us a short note of what it was doing just before it stopped: the track, the game version, your browser and operating system type, the device identifier and racing tag described above, the IP address the request came from, and the last few steps the game took. It is used only to find and fix the fault.
Payments
Race passes, Club Track and advertising are paid for through Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout and never reach our servers — we never see or store your card number. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the code it belongs to. Stripe processes that payment under its own privacy policy.
Settings kept on your own device
Your car setup, radio calibration, controller mapping, chosen colours, saved track layouts and racing lines are stored in your browser on your own device. They stay on that device and are not uploaded, except where you deliberately publish a track or post a lap time.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data to anybody.
- We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not build advertising profiles. Sponsor banners in the game are fixed images — they do not watch you.
- We do not read your contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera or precise location.
- We do not ask children for personal information. The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Who else can see it
The site runs on Cloudflare, which hosts the game and stores the data described above on our behalf. Payments go through Stripe. That is the whole list. We disclose data otherwise only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Bug reports are deleted after 90 days. Leaderboard entries expire on their own as boards roll over. The driving recorded with a posted race is deleted after 180 days, or after 30 days if the race was not accepted. Passes and club records are kept while the pass or club is active. Anything stored in your browser is removed when you clear your browser's data for this site.
Removing your data
Email [email protected] and say what you want removed — a racer name, a lap time and the driving recorded with it, a bug report or a club's records. We will remove it. You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold for you. To clear everything held on your own device, clear your browser's site data for flearacers.com.
Where the data is held
Data is processed and stored in the United States by our providers. If you use the game from outside the United States, you are sending your data there.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the game.
